A St. Petersburg nonprofit built on a simple promise: those who gave everything will never be forgotten, and their families will never stand alone.
Heroes of St. Pete is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honoring the police officers and firefighters of St. Petersburg who made the ultimate sacrifice. We maintain the memorial that carries their names, tell the stories behind them, and make sure their families know this community still stands with them.
Everything we do — the memorial, the Hall of Heroes, the annual run, and the Family Aid Fund — exists to keep a promise: remember their service, and support the people they loved.
Full organization history and mission details to be finalized with the board.
A volunteer board of community members, first responders, and families who keep this mission moving. Names and photos to be added.
When a St. Petersburg responder's family faces a hardship, the Family Aid Fund allows us to step in with support — privately, and with dignity.
This is not a public campaign. There's no application to fill out and no story to share. A board member confidentially identifies a family in need, and the fund does the rest. It's how we make sure the people who gave the most are never left to face hard times alone.
Board members: the process for flagging a family is handled internally.
